| Root A was supposed to be an alternative version of the second half of the TG manga, where Kaneki joins the bad guys insteadt. However, Root A is actually a weird mish mash between canon scenes from the manga (usually without any context) and some anime original scenes. The story is a complete mess and doesn't go anywhere. In my opnion it's MUCH worse than season 1. |
