| I can't go deep since I read the manga long time ago (the date it ended) and my memory is fuzzy but the anime ending was stupid, Yashiro was the evil himself, sympathy is not natural, didn't watch all the live action so dunno about the ending but I prefer 1000x the manga ending. |

| Well made anime usually send more impact and feelings than any manga, since its AUDIOVISUALMOTION art. What, course, sadly don't avoid TERRIBLE made animations that destroy even good manga. THAT SAID, Boku Dake was a well made anime. It rushed the end of story, but the 1st half until Kayo be saved was gourgeous. It should be a 24 episodes anime, giving more screentime to Airi, to mother, to Ken'ya and even to Yashiro. I prefered the anime for be an anime. But i prefered the ending of the manga, specially the gaiden end, showing that Airi also was feeling something special in that final moment. A true happy ending. The best is check both, anime and manga, in this order. |

| Haven't watched the movie, didn't even knew there was a movie lol, but I JUST finished the Netflix adaptation. For me is like: Manga = Netflix >>> Anime I think the Anime is a masterpiece, but yeah, the "final fight" was really damn rushed and dumb. I have read the end on the Manga (from the coma onwards, will fully read it sometime), and I can say for sure that the Netflix adaptation is about 95% loyal to the manga, witch makes it the superior series. As I said, I think the anime is a masterpiece, so it is a 10/10 for me, but I do prefer the Netflix adaptation over it. If someone wants my advice: watch the Netflix adaptation if you want the full and real plot but don't wanna read the manga for some reason. Watch the anime and enjoy it, is really damn goooood! and the different ending is not that bad, but i'm telling you, the "final fight" sucks. PD: sorry if my english is bad. PD2: Airi was always and will forever be the best girl. |
