I've been thinking about this for a while but it seems like the mc never ends up with their childhood friend. The mc always falls for some other character even if they know that their childhood friend likes them. I want to see some childhood friends fall in love with each other.

well, childhood crush is often used for a "tool" to see how much the mc love the new girl

I know childhood crushes are normally used as a tool for the romance between other characters but I want one where that crush actually goes somewhere. Unfortunately these do not seem to fit the request but I have not seen Chihayafuru and it looks pretty good so I'll add it to my plan to watch list anyways.
