Akame ga KILL!

I did make a thread a long time ago while the anime was up, but I guess I can put it better here?

Basically the entire point is that Akame ga Kill constantly references the FF series on a regular basis, through its plot and other elements.

Thoughts on this?

The creator of the series had said in some materials that he based the world of Akame ga Kill in some videogames. By example, the Danger Beast (those monsters who appears sometimes in the series), are based in the RPG monsters and there is also one character who literally says that with every battle he gains experience.

Don't know what the author said and I don't recall the character in question. Do you?

But that looks feasible indeed.

That thing about the Dangers Beast was wrote in one of his Postscripts (some information at the end of the volumes about the world of Akame ga Kill). Here is it:

That's fairly interesting. So basically the monsters from whom the Teigu were made, are nothing short of Behemoth or downright Weapon monster level (FF analogy). That's deep.
