| I Highly do NOT recommend that! All the stories in the Monogatari series are connected even tho you can honestly skip Koyomimonogatari and watch that for last. You should follow the Animations release order because although "Neko kuro" happens before Bekemonogatari, you will most likely only understand it and get most of the jokes and punchlines if you either know the contents of Kizumonogatari (the LN) OR you watched "Bakemonogatari". That being said I advise you to start with Bakemonogatari then you can either go for Neko or get spoiled with Nise (with it's infamous toothbrush scene) and then watch Neko. Either way, you can always check THIZ for more info on the chronology. |
