| The given release date and duration refer to an animation made as part of the stage adaptation of Mitsuami no Kamisama. This animation was 28 minutes long, and released only on DVDs sold at the four performances of the play in October. And presumably, this was not a complete adaptation, since it was shown to supplement the live stage performances. However, the announcement posted over the holidays referred to a film, to be released internationally, so I would guess it contains additional animation not shown at the play. Just FYI. |

I guess we can assume it's a self-contained adaptation of the manga, which is nice to hear. Hopefully it gets released on home video besides the exclusive DVDs (viz, in a collection of shorts). |
