MC that is so strong?

i am looking for an anime that has a really strong main character (preferably male), and has some kind of a dark past. and i would prefer him to be able to control his power

here are some anime i think would give you a better understanding of what i want.

1-dragon ball z (goku actually has a dark past by not realizing it since he never knew his parents, and lost his memories of his home)
2-naruto (no explanation needed i guess)
3-Shinmai Maou no Testament (basara was banished from his home and from the hero clan for prejudice)
4-blood lad (staz left home because he thought his brother was gonna kill him and is banned from the higher land because he left)
5-noragami (yato the god of calamity wants a shrine while having a really dark past where he commits several killings)
6-fairy tail (natsu never knew any of his real family and was raised by a dragon who disappears one day without a good bye)
7-fullmetal alchemist brotherhood (ed and al lost there mother to decease and their fathers whereabouts are unknown so they try to bring their mother back to life and then a failed attempt lost ed his leg while al his whole body)

if you want mth like these above hunter x hunter 2011 would be right (they are talented and grow through this series like nearly all characters you mentioned) (first 3 eps look childish, than it becomes darker and darker, white haired mc has a dark past+ he is sooo cool^^ killua !!1

Berserk has one of the strongest MCs in all anime, Guts. His past is gruesome and turns him into an even more gruesome war machine.
