Horror Anime That's Scary

So I've been wondering for a little while but what is the scariest anime you have ever watched. I've already watched and enjoyed Another and Yami Shibai, are there any other good horror anime that are actually scary that you can help me find? Thanks!

I'm not the biggest fan of horror, however i'd recommend Higurashi When They Cry. If nothing else it's creepy and will f with your head a bit. enjoy ;)

You might want to try Corpse Party: Tortured Souls, it's a bit short but good nonetheless :)

well u can watch "yami shibai" ,its really good the animation its not really that good but it really gives it a creepy feel to it ,there are 2 seasons the third one its gonna come out on winter 2016

Like Rubiakim I definitely recommend Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni and it's second season (Higurashi No naku Koro ni Kai). The other installments aren't necissary for story but I enjoyed them since I loved higurashi (it's possibly my favourite anime of all time! :D). There's also Umineko no naku koro ni but reviews are mixed but i think most people agree that manga/game was better. I see why Corpse Party: Tortured Souls was recomended but personally I think that the anime fell short of the game, and I heard that the manga wa good though I understand if you probably just want the anime. The ending is a hook for the next game which probably is never going to be adapted so thats a thing. But it did it's job in being a pretty decent horror anime. I recommend Shiki and that you should try Le portrait de Petit Cossette.
In short: Watch Higurashi before anything else! Then watch Shiki. Corpse party when you're in a mood for gore and le creeps. Le portrait de Petit Cossette is different but worth a try. Hopefully you like these :)

Everything else I was gonna say has already been said, so I don't really have anything to say now. Except for, I would recommend Pupa if you wanted something sick but honestly, the anime is a damn embarassment. It just makes you ask more questions than are answered and flows to together so bad its painful to sit through. However, if you really want some horror, I would check out some live action or manga, because that's where most of it is. Manga like Doubt and Uzumaki are some great sources of horror. As for anime, since I have to actually give an answer and Pupa is not it (unless you read the manga) I would say some psychological stuff, like Monster or Serial Experiments Lain. I've heard that Ghost Hound is good, mostly because its made by the creator of Ghost in the Shell, but I haven't watched it yet. If you want to watch it first, feel free, I'm not stopping you. Just don't watch Pupa.
