Wait - why Mayuri Shiina ?

I mean yeah what happens to her sucks but it isn't her who has to deal with it - I doubt she would even understand what is happening to her and she sure as hell doesn't remember it so...

Unless you want to say again it's because she's ousted by Kuruisu?

Also if you want Monogatari I would say Shinobu has a way fucking worse backstory but you can't expect everyone to know it I guess since it's not animated~
