| I'll admit the manga had me dying at first. Though the humour really does tone down after a few chapters imo. I think right when they introduced loli chick or whatever. Even so I'll watch it since a lot of times stuff is more enjoyable in anime form. It is how you say though, you have to go in with low expectations especially romance wise. |

| This was more than I expected. I thought it's gonna be some generic harem bullshit, but turns out to be a great comedy. The harem is used as a comedy, it fuels it up to the roof. This is amazing |

| honestly, I've been reading the manga and it was better than the anime. The moment I read the cast of Shomin Sample, I decided to stop hoping for Shomin Sample to be a good anime. I mean, the seiyuus from Drama CD is much better than the TV version. Tamaru Atsushi? more like Tamaru AtsuSHIT because his voice sucks (just watch Gakuen Toshi Asterisk and you know he's sucks). Another reason? The OP was completely messed up. And the story most likely will messed up as well. |

| Look, I'll enjoy what I want to enjoy. The problem with most ecchi comedies is that they're not funny. In fact, it doesn't even seem like they're trying to be funny. They're far more concerned with creating fap material because, for whatever reason, that sort of stuff tends to sell. I don't find Shomin Sample to be overly clever or laugh out loud hilarious but it's pretty funny overall. Which is more than I can say for most other shows from the same genre that either try to be a comedy and fail, try to be this super serious fantasy thing and fail even harder or try to be both at the same time and create this awful clusterfuck of a series that will probably still sell fairly well. |
