| I just finished this series, after much procrastination. And I have to say, I wish I hadn't left it so long. I was missing out on a great series. Though at least I have a lot more to look forward to with the next season, OVA and currently airing season. ^^; It's quite different. I don't know what genres I'd place it under. Not exactly slice of life, but it is. It's kind of sci-fi due to being set on Mars, with spaceships and flying mailmen and stuff, but that doesn't play in to the story at all really, so it's far from hard SF. It's not exactly drama, either. It's just a... peaceful relaxing series. "Chill" I guess would be the most appropriate term for it. Anyway, I guess I'll go start the next season. ^^; |
| I kind of feel weird watching this since I'm a guy but it just hooked me. I can't stop. I even ordered a random $3.00 figurine from playasia.com. So far I've completed the first season and now I'm on the 2nd and third season. (I'm watching the third one as it comes out) I'm also reading the manga. I usually don't buy manga (I read it online) but ARIA is just... I don't know how to describe it. I just love it, so I had to have the real thing. EDIT: Finished 2nd season. So awesome. I hope there's a 4th. It'll be so sad if the 3rd one ends and there's no more. |

| i have no idea why, but i seem to be totally entranced with this extremely calming slice of life on mars! one of those anime you never thought youd like but end up loving for some extremely bizzare reason! probably simply because it is just so brilliant. |

| I'm only on episode five and can tell this will become a favorite. I can't wait to finish this and get onto the other seasons. I'm going to marathon it, I know I'll be said at the end of the third season. It's so calming...it's lovely. |

| Yes, it was surprisingly good~ I'm not much of a fan of anime like Aria - however I regret that now. This anime was incredibly soothing and relaxing. No matter what the situation in the episode - I always ended up smiling. As cheesy as it sounds - it's a pretty heart-warming anime ^_^;; |

| The 2nd season is a bit slower but still very enjoyable, but the 3d season is even more awesome then 1st and 2nd combined. |

| I've been forcing myself to keep watching it. I'm on episode 3 now and I'm just bored to tears.. There's no reason for me to keep watching other than waiting for something to happen. I guess I'm not for the mellow stories. I know I don't like the slow-paced ones - so it's probably not for me. Really pretty environment though. |

| I'm one of the few who is unimpressed with this series so far, and that's really bad because this is the FIRST slice of life anime that I am not enjoying very much. Just look at my list; slice of life is pretty much guaranteed at least an 8. However, I just found this anime to be boring and slow... I'm not a fan of gondolas, so the whole talk about gondolas just really bores me. I am, however, happy to say that it is getting better. However, it didn't pick up the pace until after episode 6 for me, and that's half the show. I was thinking of giving this a 5, but now, if it gets really good for me later, I might raise it to a 7. |

Watch the Natural. That is when the series becomes something great imo. |
