All the GoM have achieved Zone as well as some having other abilities such as Emperor Eye or Perfect Copy. Midorima has yet to achieve Zone or any significant upgrade. Hes the only member lacking so does anyone have any idea on a crazy powerup or upgrade he would get?

He kind of got an upgrade..., the jump, catch, shoot in midair with takao's pass. But it is true, he's never entered the zone or any higher state(like perfect copy). Not sure if he will even get an upgrade, while a bit lacking compared to the others, shooting from anywhere is still OP. If hes going to get better than that then i guess it'll be the speed of the shot? like the second he gets the ball, he does a quick release like that kid from touou? who knows, we'll just have to see in the next chapter of extra game :)

It's because the "Zone" is a realistic state named Condition Gray in real life. Basketball players ideally want to be in in Condition Yellow in order to make difficult shots. The very nature of his basketball denies him from reaching the Zone. I'll talk more on conditions in the evening, as I'm about to head to classes soon.

Do you have any ideas on a particular upgrade for him like Perfect Copy for Kise?

as someone said he can shoot in midair and that his upgrade lol
but im still hoping he achieves the zone and in the zone he can shoot on any kind of long range shot but still the ball will went in the basket, like shooting with just one hand or switching between his hand when shooting for 3 pointers

the problem is that he already shoots all his 3's so you can't upgrade that.
Now you can make so that he will shoot them even if someone's on him

Midorima honestly does not need Zone. He had the fewest minutes played in Extra Game among the GoM but scored the most points for the team. His impact on the game is already ridiculous enough. Sure, he's the only one without zone. But he really does not need it. He's devastating enough as he is.
