| "I, I'm sorry.." lirael said while moving in front of the horse and outstretching her arms, now it was only she who separated Aurelia from leaving "I thought it was always.." She stopped looking for the right word "Sisterly love, i never thought..." |
| "If the princess opened her eyes she may of seen more then she thought. But she had not. It has nothing of importance anymore" |
| "You're even talking like everyone else in court now" She shook her head sadly "You must have really resented me all of these years, huh Aurelia? Even if I grovel at your feet, and beg forgiveness it won't be enough will it?" Lirael had a pained look etched on her face, not even realising how much she had probably kept hurting Aurelia |
| "Move M'lady. I gave my word i would not be longer then a day, This is something i must do, Please Move aside" She replied not raising anything she was just told. |
| "You will have to knock me out" Lirael shook her head, she wasnt going to move out the way. She felt if Aurelia left now she wouldnt come back the same person |
| "Please Move i wish not to hurt you, but i have a duty and nobody but the Emperor may change that, Please move aside." Aurelia looked to Lirael but with more of a glare of just nothingness. |
| the only reaction Lirael had was to shake her head and raise her arms more |
| "Please. Move. I wont ask Again Princess" Her hands gripped the reins harder, if she had to she would ride right through her since she wasnt in the right frame of mind |
| She could see the gleam in Aurelia's eyes. Her answer was to close scrunch her own tight to not see it coming, in soma faraway place of her mind she wondered how much it would hurt to be run over and trod on by a horse |
| Aurelia made the horse go on its back legs and neigh rather loudly before running into Lirael, not too hard since the horse hit her side, just enough to knock her to the floor and wind her. Upon getting past Lirael off Aurelia went fast as she could, Galloping through the streets and leaving the City into the Unknown. |
| (When you say 'hit her side' do you mean with the horses hooves?) |
| (No no just the horse's head) |
| (aha :)) She felt the impact of the horses head on her side she grimaced feeling the brunt of the animals strength toss her aside as if she were nothing but a kitten. She hit the cold floor hard, having used her elbows and arms to brace the impact. Her eyes snapped open, she couldnt breath. She tried to inhale yet only dry heaves happened. She felt dizzy, scared, betrayed and just wanted to sleep. Why couldnt she breath properly? The cold slab of the stone was comforting, lulling her into a deep sleep, a sleep where she could forget about Aurelia, about the marriage, about the kingdom and herself. She welcomed the blackness with open arms just like she had tried to stop Aurelia. Oh the irony. At least in the dark she could breath.. |
| Prince Willas Elendere He rode into the stables on his mare, he sees Lirael on the floor and his eyes widen. He rides over to her and gets off his horse, quickly approaching where she lay. He knelt down next to her and checked her pulse, she was alive. Then he noticed a small pool of blood, he searched for the source of it and realized it was coming from her elbow. Her elbow shouldn't be bleeding so much... he thinks, he then rips the material of his pants, wrapping it around the wound and hoping to staunch the flow of blood. He gently starts to slap her cheek, [b]Lirael, Lirael! Wake up! |
| Slowly, as if waking from a dream she came to, her eyes we're glassy and seemed a long way away with a glimmer of hope that was soon destroyed as soon as she saw it wasn't Aurelia but Willas, she still hasn't realized about her elbow since her mind was more occupied with thoughts of Aurelia, blaming herself for how things turned out, wanting to go and find a conrer and just cry until her heart was content. But she wouldn't do the the corner part. After all, she had a status and statuses came with stuff you did not have the freedom to do, nor did she believe herself with the right to cry and let it all out. After all the pain she had been causing Aurelia over the years with her ignorance she felt that not letting it out was her punishment |
| Prince Willas Elendere Lirael, your elbow is bleeding and I can't stop the blood, he says to her when he sees her wake, he held her arm up so as to help prevent circulation to it, he tightened the cloth to achieve the same. He patted her cheek again, trying to get her aware. |
| "Is it..?" Her head hurt. It hurt a lot. Elbow's.. bleeding, the words took a good few minutes to sink in, as if being jerked awake with a bucket of cold water she snapped more or less into focus, "Father..get me to my father" She choked out closing her eyes only to force them open anew, she couldnt lose consciousness again |
| Prince Willas Elendere Your fathe- Lirael, you need medical attention, not your father! He says, a little panicked at the amount of blood now. He gets her up to a sitting position, she clearly couldn't walk. He hoists her up onto his back in a piggy back position. He then begins to walk towards the castle. |
| She meekly shook her head "Please.. he's the only one who knows what to do.." Her voice was a hoarse whisper, and she just sat on his back like a limp rag doll, would they have to cicatrise it closed this time to stop the blood flow? |
| Prince Willas Elendere He decided to trust her, he spoke softly and reassuringly, Alright, don't move, and try to calm your heart rate. He begins to walk briskly towards the throne room, not wanting to cause any large movements that would hurt her. |
| She just nodded, and focused solely on deep long breaths, how many pitchers of blood had she lost now? She couldnt do anything so Lirael ended up resting her forehead in the crook of Willas' neck, trying to calm her own heart rate will listening to his own accelerated one |
