| Greetings. This feature would be really useful over at some active community clubs, and probably at the open forums as well at some major occasions. Basically, I would recommend an implementation of forum Announcements. How it works. An Announcement is just like any other thread with a title and its content, just that it's above all Sticky threads and does not take the forum board's space - this means that having it does not result in 49 other threads in the first page, but all 50 - it is above the threads. The Announcement appears in all forum boards unless specifically limited otherwise. It also appears on the top of the main forum index page (if it's a site announcement). This could be convenient if there are any limited Updates & Announcements going on, meaning that they are not just informative but request (interested) community members to participate. Well, as far as the club forums are concerned, we only have one forum board per club so there is no dilemma there; the announcement simply appears in its own section above all threads, normal and Sticky alike. This could potentially be even more useful in clubs than the open forums as clubs demand including all Sticky threads of all different topics in a single forum board, resulting in their quantity stockpiling insanely, while the open forums have their respective forum boards that split their quantity respectively. Furthermore, one of the forum boards is already called Updates & Announcements, so there wouldn't be excessive need for it all together on the open forums. However, when a single club forum board receives dozens of Sticky threads but requires the members to pay attention to one in specific at a limited time, that can be hardly achieved even if making the title of the thread many times fancier and putting up notices in the club's layout/information section. Therefore an Announcement, or Master Sticky thread would be required and would help out a lot. Thank you. Edit: Typos are an overly attached ghost. |

| This would be really needed to avoid many minor complications that later on happen, mainly in active community clubs. |
