| Benjamin Torik The group reached the palace and skidded to a halt, they dismounted their steeds, laughing and joking as they did so. A very boisterous bunch it seemed, Ben walked up to the Sultansworn keeping guard, he waved a greeting. How you'se gentlemen doin' this fine here day, hmm? He asks. The Sultansworn guard stare at him, the older one stepping forward and leveling his halberd at Ben, You got an audience with the Sultan? He asked gruffly, in the accent of Kabul. Ben laughs, No I don't, man o' the momen' see, he replies. The guard simply stands still, No access to anyone who has not arranged a meeting with the Sultan. Ben spits in the guards face, draws a sword and chops the halberds head off, he then advances on the guard, rips off the mans helm and head butts him in the nose. The guard reels back and falls to the ground, the other guard charges forward and swings his halberd. Ben does a one handed cartwheel out of the way and roundhouse kicks the man in the back of the head, sending him sprawling. Good guards... he mumbles with a chuckle. C'mon boys, lets go meet the sand king! He shouts, kicking open the door and sheathing his sword. The men behind him as they walked through the hallways of the Palace, any guards they met along the way were quickly knocked out by the force of 27 men. |
