A MAL's comprehensive guide in seven steps
Step 1: Create an account.
Step 2: Build a profile. Add some titles (anime, manga) to your list. Decorate the list if you have time.
Step 3: Write a review. (optional)
Skip the rest if you are only here for organising what you have seen/read and/or want to see/read.
Step 4: Post in Forum. Introduction is a great start.
Step 5: Join in the discussion for anime/manga you like and share your opinions.
Optional: Step 6: proceed at your own pace. Venture into casual discussion/forum games/clubs and get brainwashed/patronised/irritated and, with a little bit of luck, fun.
Step 7: Make some friends while you're here. Not every one is bad. Stalk someone is always a great way to get to know them more. You can have great conversations through the comments system or if you want more privacy, messages.
