| The mayor position is vital for us townies, and to give it to someone who is inactive and new to the game is detrimental to our goal of winning. The mayor role is has a huge impact on the game and is considered to be top priority. To give it to someone who is incompetent will lead us to our doom. If you have played mafia before, you will know that a wise and a mayor who can read between lines is a key for winning the game. |

The chances of Town getting screwed are less if someone inactive is mayor. You have a better chance of avoiding a retarded Townie-lynch-Townie double vote or Mafia-lynch-Townie double vote. It could also be more than just double votes with abilities, it could maybe be a triple or quadruple vote that someone random gets. |
