It didn’t help much. Still, I wonder why exactly was his mother in the hospital. It only said her heart weakened in the text. I would have guessed some mental issues - yet another short-tailed cat. |

| Aww man. The first time I read it,i didn't quite figure out what happened. I understood that she was his mother. But beyond that not much. But I took time and slowly read it a second time. Paying attention to every dialog, every panel and ever page. I guess a mother's love truly knows no bounds. She was probably dying, but knew that her son needed a new heart. So she decided to fall "asleep" in that fridge the day before so that when it came for Satoru's surgery, they'd have fresh and preserved heart for him. I always love Sahara sensei's works, but this one is something beyond special. |
