| Durante just posted his impressions about the PC version of the game it's definitely worth a read! http://www.pcgamer.com/valkyria-chronicles-pc-port-analysis-durantes-verdict/ The Bad News 1. All pre-rendered in-engine cutscenes are limited to the original PS3 quality. 2. Controls in menus are mapped directly from the console version, without mouse support. 3. The game is 16:9 limited meaning it will only support 16:9 resolutions only. So 16:10 and 21:9 users are not be able to play at their native resolution on launch day, BUT! do not despair as i am sure Durante will fix these issues as quickly as possible! If you're not familiar with Durante, then allow me to explain Durante is a modder that managed to fixed the problems that existed on pretty much on the recently released Japanese games on PC. He's famously known for fixing Dark Souls series and Final Fantasy XIII PC version. |

| I bought this game again on PC (I already own on PS3) and the port is pretty good in my opinion apart from those few issues, I have a 21:9 monitor myself so I have to play the game in 16:9 with black bars although I wouldn't expect a port of a game that old to support 21:9 but I am surprised that it doesn't have 16:10 support. |

Click on "Edit Settings" at GeDoSaTo and find maintainAspectRatio, change true to false then save it and run the game see if it works for you. Oh yeah GeDoSaTo needs to be running on the background while you're running your game. I'm using 16:10 monitor and i do get those horizontal black bars as the game doesn't support any other aspect ratio besides of 16:9 resolutions. But i could easily solved the problem by using GeDoSaTo :) and now i could enjoy the game at full screen So please do let me know if it does works for you :) |

Do you mind posting a picture about the badly skewed and deformed image? I would like to see how terrible it is ? Well at least it's a temporary fix for 16:10 owners. Most of the times 16:10 owners are left out in the cold :( when it comes to games on supporting proper 16:10 resolutions. It can't be helped :/ i guess given that 16:9 is the most popular ones that people are using and 99% of the newly released games will support it. It's pretty uncommon to see support for 16:10 and i just can't imagine how 21:9 will be :( Actually, i was planning on getting a 16:9 just for compatibility sake |

Sorry for the late reply again, I actually took a picture ages ago but got caught up with work and completely forgot to post, had to use my camera, because the steam overlay kept on crashing whilst using the tool. |
