Which do you value more on the anime/manga pages?

The only stuff with < 500 is going to be older things pre-digisubbing, that hasn't aired on US TV, probably. I think the older series that few people have seen will have more reliable reviews and ratings since only the well-informed anime fans have seen them. IMO choosing newer animes seems to be shots in the dark what with the balkanized fans of the shows drivng the reviews and the rankings. |

| Quick suggestion? If you're revamping the details page for animes anyway... maybe consider adding (#) next to the link for "More Recommendations" like there is for "More Reviews"? That was tangental, I guess. |

| For me, after the synopsis should be the characters/seiyuu info. The rest is nice, but isn't the prioritary information when first reading about a series. Besides that, people who already knows the anime usually look for info on the voice actors. |

| I voted for characters BUT I think the pages work great the way they are. I would actually recommend no change at all. If you must change, bring the characters up a little, and have more of the art on the first page since character design and art is a major selling point of anime (to me at least)  |

| Characters - My vote: Characters are the most important thing for me. I like checking what the characters look like. The best thing about this site is being able to see a picture of the main and supporting characters. I think voice actors needed to be a separate category for the poll. Reviews and Recommendations: I wouldn't check reviews as the first thing. I actually rarely read reviews. The synopsis is enough to indicate whether I will watch a certain anime. I'll try watching the 1st episode of the anime regardless of what others think of it. This is mostly to shape an opinion. As for the recommendations, I might glance at them but I won't read them in detail. Even though, the reviews and recommendations are on a deeper level, they sometimes can be irrelevant and dim-witted. Also scrolling down does not indicate the level of interest. There are other ways to find information on the anime. I usually use the tags to find about an anime with the similar tag. Well, sometimes, the anime turns out to have no tag. But that is still fine. Overall: Anyway, the layout is very good as it is and needs no changes. |

| 1. characters/voice actors 2. reviews 3. recommendations why? 1. well, characters/voice actors are definitely in the right place right now - they are the most important part of the series 2. reviews are treated more seriously (well, at least some of them...), I mean people put more effort into them and in some cases they're really helpful 3. hmm... there's not much to say: most of them are just plain silly... PS personally I have nothin against the current layout, but if you're thinking about modifying it a little, that's my suggestion |
