The manga series Kotaro Makaritoru! by Tatsuya Hiruta ran from 1982 to 1994 and has 600 chapters it was serialized in weekly shonen magazine and spawned two spinoffs Shin Kotaro Makaritoru!, and Kotaro Makaritoru! L it also earned a Kodansha Manga Award for shōnen.
But you know since it is a best manga series it should have been turned into a anime series like the rest of the popular long running manga series which turned into anime series If Tatsuya would have continued and finished Kotaro Makaritoru! L but cannot do it due to his poor health condition and cause the series to 'eternal' hiatus.
Maybe it will get an anime adaptation perhaps in the near future similar like how Jojo bizarre adventure (1986) did when it finally has an anime adaptation in 2012 |
