I know this club is dead, but...

Chapter 685 = huge food for SasuSaku fans. I mean, it's just Kishi playing the pairing game to trigger people's emotions, especially considering Sakura basically kissed Naruto like 20 chapters ago, but still. We've never really had proof in a while of Sasuke reciprocating Sakura's love for him, but we've got something right here.

What do you think of Chapter 693? Is it Kishi's way of completely shutting down the SasuSaku pairing, or in fact giving it a tongue in cheek thumbs up? I'm of the opinion of the latter personally and while I know it may just be that I'm overly hopeful I really think it's one of the best confirmations we've got. The entire time she's confessing her feelings he's keeping his face hidden, he knocks her out with a genjutsu so she won't follow them and get harmed, he knocks her out before his dramatic "I'm not interested in her at all", and he flashes back to his family before saying he's incapable of love. To me this all screams that he's denying it all on purpose as a way of convincing himself as much as everyone else.

I feel the same way. The simple fact that Sasuke connects Sakura's love with that of his family is a testament to how much he really values her feelings, despite what he says.
If Naruto really can transform "the hate into love," then I feel as if SasuSaku might at least be implied in the end.
