| It's not dumbness - it's cluelessness. Basically, those spirits that are more accustomed to the world are the ones that have been living within society in some way. As you would expect. Tohka had always hated and rejected society, and certainly wasn't trying to find a way to fit into it in the way that some of the others were (even if that fitting in meant killing people a la Kurumi). So, at least initially, she was completely unfamiliar with anything that most people would take for granted. As for the name - she never had need for one before she met Shido. |

| Like other people have said and in more detail above me is she is not dumb but clueless. She is rather perceptive to Shidou's feelings though which has been shown many times including last arc and this arc as well. |

| As most of you already figured out, she did not want to integrate herself in the human society before she mets Shido. It was not important for her at all, because for her every human was a threat. |
