| darker than black is very good, for me it is like a 9.5-10. i haven't watched phantom yet so i can't say in terms of that, but darker is definitely a winner. :3 my favorite is Psycho Pass though Ergo Proxy Mirai Nikki Deadman Wonderland Blackrock Shooter |

| Gunslinger Girl +1 Marai Nikki +1 Darker than Black +1 Ghost in the Shell - I'd say it's more philosophical than psychological, but it's definitely a must watch +1 Elfen Lied - though once again I 'd say it's more philosophical than psychological, but it's definitely something you should check out(ultra-violence included) These are short OVA's but they fit the bill as long as you can stomach the 'ol'ultra-violence'; Kite Mezzo Forte Just because others mentioned 'Another', even though imo 'Another' falls under horror/psychological thriller IMO, not action, but if you check it out and like you you'll probably love this one; Higurashi no Naku Koro ni |
