| Is the movie a continuation of the series or is it a retelling? I hope a continuation, but I have a feeling it is just the entire series in movie form. Also when is it available in the U.S.? |

| ^- I'd recommend you to watch the TV anime series. This movie is technically an summary of the first anime TV season with differences to the story. I'd imagine you to be insanely confused if you just watched this movie as it kinda rushes through the stuff that was properly explained in the anime. The Second movie (That follows the story of Hakuouki Season 2 TV series) though has quite some of differences of the TV series, I personally thought it was quite worth it to watch both movies just for that and the beautiful animation. Hope that helps :) |
