| Across the series and movies, Star Trek has some of my favourite quotes, many of them are also printed in a book I have, Quotable Star Trek. Thought it might be nice to have a thread to share some of your favourite quotes and/or dialogue, and, if you can, reference the episode. You can always use Memory-Alpha to find some great quotes too. I'll start with some from TNG. These are from The Drumhead: "You know, there are some words I've known since I was a schoolboy: ' With the first link, the chain is forged. The first speech censured, the first thought forbidden, the first freedom denied, chains us all irrevocably.' Those words were uttered by Judge Aaron Satie as wisdom and warning. The first time any man's freedom is trodden on we’re all damaged. I fear that today..." - Picard, quoting Judge Aaron Satie "Mr. Worf, villains who twirl their mustaches are easy to spot. Those who clothe themselves in good deeds are well-camouflaged." - Picard And a scene from First Contact, which I'm sure everyone knows. |
