Can't remember for now how many of them were strictly anime related, but there was a slice of life-themed one settled between the late 90's and the early 2000's of teenagers around my age of back then and mostly inspired by people i actually met, and they also watched anime from the same years there were actually aired by italian MTV. It already existed in "comics" form during my senior year of high school (2004-2005) and the first months after graduation, but as a written fanfiction it lasted more or less from 2006 (when i landed my first job) to mid 2009. Finally... It had a prequel story as a radio fanfiction from 2011 to 2012 settled in the 80's with a different set of characters there were the parents, older brothers or uncles of the ones from the first plot, even if the main focus was on music (anime were not that popular yet in italy back then, or at least i hadn't watched enough of them yet of those made before that cutoff date).
