| Thank you for the welcome, everyone! @23feanor and @whiteflame55 I'm always looking for something different but I also have styles I like more. Strangely enough Kimi ni Todoke is slice of life-ish and it's one of my favorite animes/mangas. But I usually find slice of life a bit boring :( I have added this month's show to my list to watch. Sailor Moon S is probably my favorite anime of all time, along with a few others. It's a treat 😍 |

@ShuffleNote @slayra welcome to the club, although you guys have both been around mal way longer than me. In terms of suggestions for recommendations, my first point of call would be the Discuss the Series You Just Finished thread we have here in the group discussions section. There's reviews for shows of all types and genres, old and new airing seasonals, obscure, mainstream, bit of everything and guarantee you'll find something you like and haven't seen in there. I've delved into its pages for recs many times and found plenty to keep me going for years.
@slayra see you've got Kimi ni Todoke in your faves, we watched it a couple of years back as part of our group watch and it became my top romance series ever, I love the peculiarly wonderful Sawako so much, and S3 last year was brilliant. I gave S1 and S3 a 10/10. There's a whole group watch thread where @whiteflame55 and I gush over the series. We're planning on watching Sailor Moon S in our group watch either next, or maybe after Lupin 6. | Hello all! Finally I have some room to write in this thread. I used Anilist for a few years but I missed MAL and its UI so much that I wanted to come back. Not much to say about me. 32 years old from Sweden, love anime and video games. I usually work in a civilian position within law enforcement, but I'm on maternity leave right now. Which means I rarely have my hands free, but it's very easy to watch anime :D I just leave the TV on in the background. |

| Hello everybody! My name is Marcin, and I'm a 37-year-old from Poland. My first anime was Tosho Daimos when I was 7 years old. It was shown on Polish TV in the 90s with Italian dubbing and a Polish voice-over :D (Of course, I had no idea I was watching anime at the time) Later, just like every other kid in Poland, I fell in love with Dragon Ball. This time, it had French dubbing and a Polish voice-over :D (honestly, I think the French voice actors did a great job.) But I still wasn’t really into anime yet. When I was 19, my friend recommended Bleach to me, and I liked it a lot. But this one time, just out of curiosity, I decided to watch Clannad, and, oh boy, that was a life-changing experience. That show touched parts of my soul I didn’t even know existed :D. I needed more, and after that, I watched Kanon (2006), and I fell completely into the anime world. For the last couple of years, I haven’t had time for anime because of real-life stuff, and took a looooooong break. Luckily, I recently got more free time again, and I decided to watch Blue Box (Ao no Hako), which was so refreshing, so wholesome. Probably it’s because of this long break from anime, but I felt the same way I did 18 years ago back when I watched Clannad. So now I’m back in the anime business :D Besides anime, I also love horror movies, old ones, new ones, doesn’t matter. I also enjoy old-school action movies (Charles Bronson, Stallone, Van Damme, etc.) BTW, I rewatched Tosho Daimos as an adult, and it’s still a great anime. Nice to meet you all! |

| Hi! I'm Malcolm! I've been watching anime since high school, but it's always just been this thing that I do but don't talk about. First anime (other than Pokemon and Yugioh) was Kaze no Stigma. I found it on TV Tropes, saw the main girl with her fire sword, and could not have been more in. Recently I've been getting in to Gundam and Macross. I only watch 1 or 2 new shows a season because I'm mainly focused on my backlog. |

Haven't looked into that series, but would be interested to get your thoughts. Also, impressive Naruto binge! @JohnYeti Welcome to the club! I'm glad to see my love of Blue Box is being shared around since the anime dropped - big fan of the manga and the anime is absolutely doing it justice. We watched Clannad as a group watch a while back, it's how I've gotten exposed to a number of different anime I either wouldn't have picked up on my own or kept delaying. @Maikkirru Glad you could join us as well! I'm trying to up my manga reading a bit and I noticed you're into Akane-banashi and Ichi the Witch. I've heard great things about both series, hoping to pick it up one of these days. @Get1ntherobot Hey Malcolm! | @whiteflame55 Hey! Pretty new to the mecha genre, ngl. I think it's just a part of getting older, I guess? haha Plus, so much of the coolest animation work in the 80's and 90's went towards animating awesome mechs, so as my appreciation for animation has grown, so has my love of mecha! |

| @Get1ntherobot It's pretty recent for me as well, excluding my relatively early experiences with The Big O, Gundam Wing and FLCL (didn't even get to Evangelion until much later). Probably wouldn't have gotten into Universal Century Gundam at all if not for this club, and almost certainly wouldn't have seen any Macross series. |
