SPOILERS. So something happened during the second war that led all the summoned Servants AND the grail to disappear all of a sudden. The grail disappearing from Fuyuki and appearing someday in the capital has left the Einzberns, Tohsakas, and Matous unable to participate. Tohsakas I understand, but why would the Einzbern and Matou not participate? No master candidates ready at the time, perhaps? Regardless, this means that neither Angra Mainyuu nor Amakusa Shirou will be summoned this time. Not sure if this is shared between the timelines of SN, Zero, and Apo, but the priest says that the Church won't supervise or participate because they have their hands full with WWII. With that, the Mage's Association will be the only faction we're familiar with that's going to send a participate of their own. Not sure if Darnic will show up as well. Finally, I wonder if the Edelfelts will show up. At that point, they still don't have a history with the Tohsaka, so I don't see a reason for them not to participate because the Tosakas won't. Actually, the Edelfelts sisters may as well be the members the Association will send. |

From what was said, Redline may share the same timeline as F/SN, Zero and Apocrypha, until the 2nd HGW. And whereas the 2nd war ended in a massacre with no winner and that lead the Einzberns to cheat by summoning an 8th class Servant (Zero/Apocrypha), in Redline the Grail and Servants just went and disappeared and manifested in the Capital 60 years later. |

| Its because the anime has an irregular amount of episodes and they have to fill in the TV time slot they bought so they have to air recaps. Its pretty lame, but nothing they can do about it. |
| Putting the shit that happens after episode 18 into consideration, I'd say give them all the time they need. I honestly absolutely love how they limited the runtime to 21 episodes and strategically planned the breaks before the episodes that would need more time and polish. 10/10 project planning. Kudos, Cloverworks. If only 3rei got the same treatment. Episode 11 needed one more week in the oven to look how it deserved to look. |
