| Not to upset the masses, but Death Note and Black Butler grind my gears. They are also more popular than they should be and I feel that both should be under a 6 had it not been for ravenous masses of emos, goths and fujoshicons saying that both were the best thing since sliced bread. Bleach runs a close third to these two for its blatant infringement on copyright and lack of understanding of having a power system. Bankai is jut this thing. It is a similar problem with things like the Destny video games in they are barely cohesive and would have benefited to be either written by a more inspired writer/team or have no plot and just be totally incoherent beat-em-up stories altogether. |

| Attack on Titan, Jujutsu Kaisen and Demon Slayer I think that are the most overrated and overexcited animes. In my country, I see everywhere merchandising with these shows like t-shirts or figurines, like they are the only animes in the world. Some of the people that are friends with me on MAL are new with anime (2-3 years) and I see these anime in the favorite section. I would love to tell them: try another anime beside these ones, maybe you will find a better one. Before these anime existed, there are others that are exactly 💯 better. I don't know, but this is my opinion. |
| FMAB, it was hailed as THE best anime of all time, so I went in expecting some mind blowing stuff, but shit was hella underwhelming, still good but nowhere near top 10 material imo |

| Hunter x Hunter - it's just your average shounen FMA:B - its good but not that good, personally preferred FAM over it Jujutsu Kaisen - I don't get the hype about this, it was boring ended up dropping it Boku no Hero Academia - dropped this as well, was boring |

Those are the only ones that aren't overrated. |

| idk I think HXH is really good and belongs in that top 10, but I have my biases. If I had to pick one it would definitely be JoJo. I thank the gods each day that im over with that phase. Although I will say that the community has gotten better than it was in 2020. |
