@RobertBobert cannot say more. But the finale was incredible. One of the best finales I ever read, and it isn't a which girl wins. Tachibana knows how to write and his new series got really good just on volume 2.
@icefirestone23 How soon do you think the anime will get around to adapting the ending?

@RobertBobert probably 2026 is when it will adapt volume 22. Could be later could earlier. Season 5 rumored next year should be 17-19

@icefirestone23 Do you think they'll take a year off between Season 5 and a potential Season 6?

@RobertBobert ln adaptations usually need time between cours. especially if it is the finale. But I have a theory that Tachibana wants to build up hype so that King's proposal can get off on a good start. king's proposal only has 5 ln volumes which is not enough for a double cours right now. It is getting heavily promoted and has good reviews. Kentaro Yabuki pushed ayakashi triangle after tlr having a half-assed ending and not adapting the last few volumes plus long hiatus. So Ayakashi triangle kind of flopped with the manga ended and anime probably done tomorrow.

@icefirestone23 Lol, I just found out that it ended....and he ended up doing a lazy open ending in a "and the adventure continues" style so as not to make it yuri, but also not to lose the yuri bait? Lmao, that's so lazy. But why do you say it failed? The manga still has a high rating on mangadex, although apparently thanks to yuri fanboys.

@RobertBobert the anime didn't boost manga sales to even above average. Meaning he probably pulled the curtain. So chances are a second cours is not coming based on yabuki saying next episode is last. Even his own fans want him to continue to love ru

@icefirestone23 Are the fans just tired of the fact that at some point he completely gave up on the plot and it turned into a meaningless yuri bait SoL (I was very hyped about this at the time, expecting it to create a lot of content where Ranma wasted its potential, but it turns out Yabuki just didn't know what to do with it)? Or do you think they simply didn't waste time on another work instead of continuing their magnum opus?

@RobertBobert to love ru is split between Hashemi and yabuki and Hashemi is doing something else. Needless to say, yabuki will probably struggle to get another serialization after this. Since despite heavy promotion, it kind of flopped with very few viewers especially outside japan

Do you think that a failed anime can be considered a sign that the manga itself is a failure? But what about the ratings on mangadex or manga plus? Or is this more likely a survivor's mistake due to fanboy bias and the locality of manga resources?

@RobertBobert apparently a lot of japanese people didn't like it after volume 3. TLR really didn't deserve to die for ayakashi triangle

If this is true, then this is the first time I've seen how yuri bait killed manga in the eyes of the Japanese. Which is doubly unique considering this is an ecchi king's manga.

Re:Garbage is just another Harem Isekai

Season 3 will be a mindless Battle Shounen
@HigherLvLThinker caught up with the WN and still don't see subaru's harem anywhere in sight :(

Also, s3 will have 2 arcs which are both epic, good morning

@RobertBobert Arc 2 wasn't initially planned in the storyline so every argument includes Rem is debunked.

She is not an important character, even Tappei doesn't know what do to with her in future.

Entire story and events build around Subaru and Emilia. There is no role for Rem, she is important as any random side character.
@Okeanix "from zero" and "stand up-" make me think otherwise, sure where her character is going may be ambiguous but she's supposed to be the MC's love interest along with emilia, so i think tappei will definitely take it somewhere
