Do you believe the top 50 anime on Mal are the best anime ever? If not, why do you think they're ranked so high?
| Sure I would take some anime out and put some anime in the top 50 but to me I guess it's fine. I never really cared or complained about rankings. If someone doesn't agree with the top 50 then make your own and if you complain about the top 50 saying some shouldn't be there we'll that's your opinion. The top 50 is ranked by the community not one individual person. |
| No they're not the best anime ever since subjectivity exists. But I do think the ratings of some of them like Steins Gate, Hunter x Hunter and FMAB being non sequels, having aired 11+ years ago and being rated by over 1 million + users are legitimate and they deserve to be called as "masterpieces". |

People are not born or raised to be clone of each other, so they dont have be like same 50 anime as prefered by majority |

| Nope. MAL rating system is not something which can be trusted. JJK has a score of 8.7 on MAL but for me it is a 2 and also AOT is mid for me. |

Most of the titles popular on MAL wouldn't even cut the list for top 50 in other Anime communities. Also western fandom is obsessed with trying to keep certain franchises in the top 50. As an example right now "Demon Slayer" is the most popular in Japan and other Asian Anime communities around the world, yet MAL doesn't even acknowledge it being in the top 5. Since ratings are beyond subjective the system that MAL uses can easily be manipulated. You only need to look at series where it's "score", "rank number", "popularity number", and "Members number" are unevenly balanced to see exactly what I mean. MAL's system isn't perfect but honestly I don't care what is on the top 50 anime list or not. I don't watch Anime based on ratings or popularity to begin with. If I did, the number of Anime would be extremely limited for me to watch. |

| These aren’t the best anime ever, They just appeal to a large number of people and are very popular. It all comes down to your opinion and Steins;Gate is my second favorite anime of all time but I still wouldn’t say these are objectively the best, ratings are opinions and MAL’s top 50 might not be the same as anilist or another review site’s top 50. |
