| English Definately English For those shows that have a lengthy name, in English it wont be as long For example Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha: Shijou Saikyou no Maou no Shiso, Tensei shite Shison-tachi no Gakkou e Kayou turns into The Misfit of Demon King Academy |

| Depends on either: which one I heard first, which one others use more, if I'm used to saying it in Japanese/English, or if it's only in Japanese. I'll say The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, but say Asobi Asobase |
