| Mostly cause I have nothing better to do. Also, nostalgia for forums in general before social media sites like Reddit and Twitter killed off traditional forums. Also, I prefer forums over Reddit or Twitter because forums allow for more actual discussion and engagement on a topic, while Reddit just reinforces a hivemind mentality. Sure, forums have their share of conformists who parrot whatever they think the current trend is, as well as strongly opinionated users, but I think forums allow for a wider array of opinions in its users, as you can't be downvoted, and you aren't usually banned simply for having an opinion a mod disagrees with. |
