| From all Idea Factory I feel this one doesn't deserve that much of hate. At least it is only 20 minutes long. I feel that the worst anime Idea Factory has done is Varanoir. Those OVAS are almost 1 hour long and freaking horrible and Horrendous, more horrible than Skelter Heaven. |

| Just watched this to find out why it's rated so low... Well it was bad but I still think it's better than Mars of Destruction. | Irrational SAO hate is OT; please vent elsewhere. (And please don't feed the trolls.) (Note to self...) - We watched Skelter+Heaven and Mars of Destruction with our science fiction club today. I felt sorry for the squids; they were probably just visiting to establish diplomatic relations or something, but the hostile, antagonistic humans decided they needed to die. (Who knows - maybe there's a world calamari shortage or something.) But ... not right away; the enemy can wait, hanging serenely over Tokyo, while our assault team spends five years showering, frolicking, practicing archery, and training on extra-bouncy vibration platform chairs. Mars probably deserves a lower rating than S+H, but both have horrible editing, sound design, writing, and characterization. And yes, low quality animation. The overly long opening, with its slow pan of the Earth from space, sets the LQ tone here perfectly. I haven't seen enough of the other low-rated titles people mentioned here to judge these two against them, but S+H definitely deserves a bottom rating. (A classic "so bad it's good" type of show, entertaining to pick apart and make fun of.) And like others, I truly feel sorry for the director. I think that a documentary or anime about the director and this studio would be very interesting. g- |

| I watched this one on YouTube because of curiosity. And what I want to say is.. Is it even that bad? I mean it feels more like a PV for the game. A very bad one but still just a short animation nonetheless. And it's not something exactly "new". Sakura Wars has several short OVAs like these, Generation of Chaos as well, and some based off my favorite games such as Gunvolt and VLR. What I'm trying to say is that this shouldn't be categorized with other "shows". Whenever someone is talking about the worst show ever rated, this and Mars of Destruction pops up frequently. But i think it's rather unfair to call them a bad shows because i don't really think that they're qualified as one. Because right now it feels like the abysmal rating mostly comes from people meme-ing. Its either 1 or solid 10 for this one. Shows like Gibiate and EX-arm for example. Very ambitious, but fails with everything else. Now these are a bad shows |
