| Fate/Milking the Franchise strikes again, this time with it's most plotless incarnation. Stop being such a greedy pig, Nasu. Go focus on Tsukihime VN remake (which development is being as slow as Berserk manga updates), and then, maybe a Mahoutsukai no Yoru anime and a REAL Tsukihime anime... That all said, I'm still happy with having HF movie (to complete the route trilogy of the original game) and EXTRA (maybe even a CCC in far future), who is really original and interesting. |

Its basically a glorified advert for a mobage(a type of a low quality japanese mobile game genre focused on spending real money to gamble for characters). FGO does not really have any good story or role or even a protagonist. Most of that stuff is just window-dressing for the money spending mechanic. It does not have clear ending or direction or any development(beyond the very juvenile and basic "gotta stop a cliche badguy from destroying the world! set up) And this is no even a "real" adaptation. This is a TV special. Glorified Advert. 20-30 or some minute long so expect lots of pointless boobs and lots of pandery shots, maybe some action hidden by bunch of sfx effects and not much of anything else. It won't make much sense most likely. But then again, it is not there to make sense. It is there so people will install the app and spend money and Nasu can continue not writing anything relevant or actually good. |
