| ^^ On the emotional side of things, I feel at peace and tranquil. It has a really beautiful yet calming aura to it. On the more scientific and philosophical side of things, it just goes to show how not only small of a speck humanity is, but also how endless and deep space is, so many things could be happening out there and we barely have a grasp on it. The vastness of space, with its endless galaxies and celestial bodies, serves as a cosmic backdrop that only accentuates the fleeting nature of individual lives. The starry night sky is a memento mori. The shining fairies as you put it remind me that despite my aspirations, accomplishments, and grand endeavors, my life is but a brief flicker in the cosmic timeline. I hate it because I just cannot help but feel a sense of urgency to live authentically and purposefully, as if the way I am currently living is inadequate. ^Idk and Idc.
