I tried finding a good torrent for cs4 but came up empty. Though I found a good cs3

CS4 isn't even that much better.

I couldn't understand cs3, so I downgraded to elements and actually understood it. now I'm gonna see if cs4 works out now that I'm more familiar with it, torrenting it as we speak

CS4 is pretty much the same thing with a sleeker interface. It has some new 3d stuff that I don't really care about though.

uhh, how to use any of the tools. I think I was basically overwhelmed by all of the stuff that I just ended up giving up. elements has like half of the tools, so I actually figured out what stuff did

there's really only a few tools you actually need. Brush, move, eraser and smudge are all I use. Elements also has half the power of Photoshop though...

For me I just learn little by little with what I can do with each tool. But most of the time I have to look up tutorials to figure how to do something correctly.

hmmm, on elements, I tend to use the stamp tool, the gradient tool, the cloning tool, etc. I think I've basically used every tool on the menu at one point or another, tbh
