| A girl named Zodia gets lost and wanders into Naofumi's encampment, and they end up going out for drinks with Muramasa and S'yne. Zodia likes to drink a lot, just like Sadeena. As Naofumi's group approaches Q'ten Lo's old capital for their next battle, the government's army launches a surprise attack from the rear, but they're called back by their commander because they acted rashly. It turns out that the army's commander is Zodia, who is Sadeena's successor, and now she's requesting an audience with Naofumi to try and settle things diplomatically. |

| Episode 10 Zodia, whose real name is Shildina, proposes a truce with Raphtalia so that she can talk with the emperor Ruftmila and the party will be allowed into the old capital, and she accepts. She also makes the request for Raphtapia to kill the emperor should peace talks break down. So with Raphtalia securing passage to the old capital, Raphtalia gets blessed so that she can ascend to the throne, and passes that onto Naofumi and Itsuki to gain new powers, and then Naofumi returns to Melromarc to get Ren to come, while Motoyasu is nowhere to be found. As it turns out, Ruftmila is just a puppet and the one who is really pulling the strings is his adviser Makina as she unsealed Orochi and is the one responsible for the suffering the Q'ten Lo citizens have been suffering. And with that, a war is about to break out as allowing Raphtalia in is a calculated scheme by Makina to strike when everybody's guard is down. Makina sure had everybody fooled there as she hid in the shadows while everything is going to hell, but Raphtalia has arrived to put an end to that, all while Shildina has a scheme of her own. |
| Raphtalia meets with Zodia, a.k.a. Shildina, and the government's forces eventually withdraw with the hopes of securing an opportunity for direct diplomatic talks with the emperor, Ruftmila. Raphtalia gains the blessings of the past emperors, and Naofumi and Itsuki gain new skills. Naofumi beings Ren from Melromarc so he can unlock the same skills as well. Unfortunately, Ruftmila's advisor Makina wants nothing to do with diplomacy, and she gathers the government's forces to the capital. Now Shildina has appeared again at the old capital, and it looks like she wants a duel. |

| Episode 11 Shildina has come requesting a duel with Sadeena, who is revealed to be her sister, in order to end the war without anybody else needing to fight. Shildina struggled in her duty filling her shoes as the oracle miko. She has the power to copy weapons based on a weapon's history, using that to fight Sadeena, and while it's useful, Sadeena is stronger now. So she uses her ace up her sleeve, which is illusion magic, to defeat Sadeena. However, there was a hole in Shildina's soul, and it causes her to take on Raphtalia's appearance, and goes on a rampage in the capital. Naofumi and company rush to the emperor's room to put a stop to Shildina's rampage, and to take down Makina to liberate the land. One more episode left to go. |
| Shildina challenges Sadeena to a duel, and she reveals herself to be Sadeena's sister. Sadeena doesn't want to fight her at first, but Shildina refuses to relent, and uses an ability to replicate Sadeena's past techniques. Then she uses magic to create illusions of herself and knocks Sadeena down. But soon her power starts going out of control, and she assumes Raphtalia's appearance and heads to the capital to go on a rampage. Naofumi, Raphtalia, Sadeena, and Filo rush there to try and stop Shildina. |
