I also think town played really well on working together by not letting paranoia override our reads too much on each other.

The only thing I would say is that I wished a bit that there was a lock lynch system put into play. I think this would have put the twilight phase in higher pressure and cause players to think about the votes more.

Mhm, that's an interesting thing to note. Maybe I'll try to do something like that for the next game. These long phases at the end were kind of unnecessary too, so that might be something to think about. Thanks!

Yay great job everyone !

This game was a bit different from what I'm used to. The first thing I want to comment on is the Twilight mechanic, which I thought worked pretty well. It definitely could've used some tuning up however, the requirement that the votes had to be tied was a little annoying since we pretty much always wanted to utilize it and it opened up some opportunities for scum tampering. Overall though, I would definitely play in a game with this mechanic in some form again.

Now about the open setup, this was actually the first game I've played in that had one. I feel like the scum got pretty steamrolled because of it, due to the 5 confirmed townies and a few other townies who were doing a good job of making themselves obvtown. This left a very small pool of suspects that was pretty easy to double lynch through. I also feel like the emphasis this game was more on making yourself as townie as possible over actual scumhunting. I've heard MafiaScum uses open setups quite a bit, and I think I understand how their meta works a little more now. (Even though I don't prefer it)

As for my own play this game, I think I did better than Tsundere mafia, but I still made quite a few avoidable mistakes. The main one was not being able to read Jackrito, which is most likely due to my agreement-bias problem that I've been having troubles with. I'm a bit disappointed since overcoming that bias was my goal coming in to this game, but I guess I can live with the win.

Anyways thanks to Chione and Pentaflare for hosting ! After 2 games I can definitely say that I really enjoy this community and I would love to continue playing here. (Also, shoot me an invite to the scum chat too, thanks !)

I enjoyed the game but as an open set up it's still was a bit narrow from what I'm used to. I assume though that this was a test game to see how things went. Especially the Twilight and Double Lynch options.

Thanks for playing everyone! The players in this game played a massive role in making the game a success. We didn't have to replace a single player for inactivity either. It was awesome.

In all honesty I did not have big issue with thinking you were scum towards the end of the game. If we did not utilize the double lynch as the safe option I would have tunneled into aa-dono.
I think you did well considering how open minded you were with listening to other's opinion, I just wish I saw more of your thoughts in the game.
I hope you come play again though :)

Personally I feel the twilight was done worked well it was a powerful tool that can ruin a mafia team so it should be a bit high risk to use and take adv of it. we did not have to use it every time either. My only issue with twlight is that we could of got a lot better debates between people in it but that did not happen too much.

Open setups normally fail quite fast when they are too many power roles which this may of suffered from tbh but they could of counterclaimed a bit better in both cases as well to make up for this. I feel the balance of roles here worked well though and with the fake claims mafia could of took adv of it a lot easier. Sadly mafia did not do a good job of hiding in the town like you say which made this a lot easier then it should of been. Normally open setups like this are a lot harder.

I would not worry too much about not been able to read me, I'm known here as been one of the hardest people to read. The only one who seems to know the trick to it is Queen so don't beat yourself up too much about that. My playstyle is very different from most since it is selfcreated and people have issue with it a lot.

You know, it's weird. Call it a gut feeling but I had the feeling Shuuka was the Miller Role. which is why I chose to investigate Dono instead. Obviously Shuuka didn't know but when they mentioned their flavor role I think that's what tipped me off.

I know, I noticed a minute or so before I typed that up. More so wanted to express it. It kind of did but since I know nothing about "Angel Beats!" I couldn't be sure.

Apparently there is a Persona character called Naoto that looks exactly like Naoi. Neither me nor Chione have played Persona, so we slipped up while looking around online and ended up putting the wrong character in the game.
