Simon coming out from disappear and defeating shorty fat with giga break was great and I really loved the animation used there as well!
Next episode is a beach episode with some fighting with aldy(whatever her name is).

5/5 for this. Simon and Kamina's dynamics were much more complex than I thought, and realizing how he complemented him back Simon learned he already has it in him to stand up for himself

What an epic episode, Simon is back in the game baby! He’s managed to get over Kamina’s death and he’s been made the leader of Team Lagann! I don’t know where the story is gonna go now that little sub-plot is done with completely but I’m certainly looking forward to the second half of this anime in particular. I’m glad that Nia was able to talk some sense in him and that speech at the end, man that speech, Kaminia really did teach him well.

This episode rocked, no pun intended, and its so good to see Simon back in the game! Nia be the first one to say to Simon that he is himself and not Kamina is the long sitting leverage that he needed to get back on his asskicking game. I already have mad respect to her for not being scared to tell him that, or hold back on the backhand on that scaley turtle Guame. Seeing Simon hit that pose was an insane amount of hype, and I already cant wait to see what happens next.

That opening transition was clever with the hole going all the way to Simon's heart.
Damn didn't know he was an artisan with that thing.
05:20.... most obvious trap I've ever done seen but they are gonna fall for it aren't they...
Kind of sad to see blond boy try to imitate Kamina in his own way.
Lol why would they only put a gun to their heads why not just shoot em? the show would be over right now if they did that.
Guame Really said "they're sex slaves" without saying it.

It's nice to see in Kamina's head though I kind of figured that's what he thought. Lol not Lagann digging through the whole ship.
They've really turned this around and got me liking Simon more, even though I probably still won't ever really get over Kamina.
I feel like Guame should have died but okay, I guess we're back to goofiness, I mean this show has always been a mix of goofy and serious but that's what makes it hard to judge whether or not lives or on the line, because to some degree they are yet in a lot of comedy parts they aren't.
Holy shit yeah I just realized that all those other boxes are 1000 years worth of dead girls. Seemingly we beat 3//4 general but the fact that we're not even half way the series is still concerning. Nice on one side though but it's still gonna hurt every step of the way without Kamina. He really was the incarnation of the word "Aniki" or "Cool Big Brother"

O SIMON TÁ PICA FINALMENTE!! claro, devemos agradecer principalmente ao Kamina e a Nia por isso, mas eu estava aguardando esse momento, pq aquela cena... a volta do Gurren Lagann, muito epico

esse general tambem e meio escoria cara, Viral na minha opiniao e o unico que se salva viu

interessante também mostrar o ponto de vista do Kamina sobre isso tudo: confesso que quando via ele em ação, as vezes até me sentia incomodado por como ele sempre parecia estar 100% confiante e sem nenhum medo de falhar, nenhum pingo de reflexão sobre se o q ele tava fazendo era certo. mas depois do flashback de hoje, achoq ele ganhou uns pontos comigo: por mais que, sim, ele tenha feito a maioria das coisas andarem no anime, foi também por parte influência do Simon. e vice versa, jaqKKKK se nao tivesse sido o Kamina, Simon não teria feito metade doq ele fez até o momento.

mais uma vez a gente vê esse lado diferente da Nia em que acredita meioq cegamente nos carasKKKK é bonito e preocupante, eu diria. mas, na personagem dela, eu acho que se encaixa.

a relação dela com o Simon tem se mostrado muito fofo tambem, destacado por esse episódio aqui. quero ver mais deles mais pra frente - ou, pelo menos, os dois evoluindo individualmente

nao diriaq esse ep chega ao nivel do ep 8, mas foi mt bom ta
