| there it is, a tennis match (L has a fangirl? Really?) and "Ryuzaki" explaining why he seats like that even in public places. "What if you are Kira, L?" LOL "i will send to the scaffold Kira myself" "Such a devotee son can't be Kira" Yeah... that tapes guy looks like a creep but hey, he has at least a great italian voice actor. |

| Okay, now I think I get why people call L and Light stupid and it's really funny. Watching them strategizing way too much, thinking a match of tennis xan help to tell that Light is Kira because he would be a sore loser (even when knowing everyone can be a sore loser) then the test with the pics because someone who is not Kira would think there's 4 texts. Nah they are stupid sometimes and it's hilarious |

@zenoslime Exactly how I feel about light. He is really smart, but he's just your classic psychopathic serial killer who is also very childish.

| What an intense tennis match.. I recently watched a similarly thrilling movie based on tennis, where they say that tennis is the most personal sport, and it is a relationship between two individuals (or something like that).. this anime kinda reminded of it and made me see the match a little differently than last time.. ..the cafe interaction between Kira and L is just beautiful :* |
| Oh shit, this thread was made the closest to an airing date for one of these episodes so far, right in the year 2006, very crazy to think that I would have been 5 years old at the time but here I am replying to this thread nearly 20 years later, time is a weird thing on the internet. And things went back to goofy in this episode with Light and L going at it in tennis, felt like I was watching a sports anime for a bit lol, so these two aren’t just smart af, but they’re also good at sports, just true badasses huh, I feel bad for every other student at that school lol. And I’m ngl I’ve kinda come around on L exposing himself to Light, it would have been tough to keep things interesting with L trying to beat Kira from the safety of long distance, these up close and personal mind games really make it exciting, like every sentence one says to the other has a thousand gears turning in their brains lol, I love it. And man I really liked what Light’s dad said about Kira, whoever ended up with the power of the Death Note is a very unlucky person, and no true happiness can be attained by using it, Light may not agree but I think his dad knows better, I’m thinking Light may eventually come to realize this but it’s also possible his ego the size of Texas stops him from ever seeing the error of his ways, only time will tell. |
