As interesting as some anime are, I think I'd rather live in reality, especially since many anime worlds can be quite dark, depressing, and generally messed-up.

Depends on the world i'd be living in. Would I be the central character in this story? Would I be able to still see friends and family that already exist in this world in the new one?

I'm more lenient towards saying No. Although it would be nice to visit for a short time since it would offer some escapism.
