| I've been getting through Ghibli films lately, and while they haven't been mindblowing so far they're generally pleasant with nice animation. Most of them have a fairytale-like feeling to them that I enjoy. Don't know much about Miyazaki and don't really care to know more, but the stuff he's worked on is pretty solid. Majo no Takkyuubin was pretty fun, though out of the Ghibli movies I've seen my favorite is probably Coquelicot-zaka kara, a movie he didn't direct lol |

I don't really care about miyazaki but his contradictory political opinions and worldviews as layed out in this thread (his anti-west larping) make him super based and (also plus point because they trigger western liberals.:))
