@NurarihyonMaou Sorry for rezzing this thread, but I installed your script using Tampermonkey and ran it as you instructed. But the script runs all the way through but just pauses. I never get an "It's done" message or anything. Again, all 3 bars are completely filled up but after the last bar is filled nothing happens. I left it and let it run for 10 minutes and still nothing. I have 500+ anime but lots of them do have dates. I just have around 50ish I think that don't have dates which I would like to add using this script. I don't know if the amount of anime watched adds to the runtime.

Edit: Ok, I closed out of the tab while it was stuck and reran the script 2 more times and same thing happened. After the third time I just closed out of the tab, but when I went back into MAL I got a message saying to verify that I'm not a bot and to hit submit. Weird that it asked me that 3 times. When I went to my anime list, I saw every entry had a finish date at least. Some don't have start dates.

But the main issue is that I don't know if the script worked or not. I exported my list before using the script, but when I re-import my backup it says "There's nothing to update". Huh? Not only that, but I know for a fact when I created my MAL account, that very day I added at least 20+ anime to my completed anime. I was expecting that the script would add the finish dates as the date when I entered the anime entry since I never put any dates on any of them. But when I sort my list by finish date, I don't see 10 let alone 20 anime at the bottom for March 2015.

I can't verify if the script worked or not because my dumbass didn't think to keep in mind some anime that don't have dates before running this. I exported my list before running the script but as I said above re-importing says 'There's nothing to update'. OOF.

Edit 2: Alright so after looking through my completed list again, I see a lot of anime ending at 10/26/15. While that date does meet the ball park for when I actually started or finished it, going off my memory, there are some that don’t match. High school DxD season 3 AKA Highschool DxD Born came out around April,2015. I know for a FACT that I watched the first two seasons before the third one came out. So how come all 3 seasons have 10/26/15 as the finished date? Again, I reimported my backup, where I didn’t even have that date, so welp. Fuck.

 Don't worry, I'm glad You're searching for help.

So... I have an general idea of what happens, but I'm not sure why it does.

Anyway, I'm working on an Updated Version of the Script, so if You could wait a while, and check after I push the Update

As for now - You can use my other Script - MAL Full History (greasyfork.org), to for example -> check Your DxD Dates

Awesome, glad to see that you’re still updating it. I actually use both MAL and Anilist to manage what I watched/read. So I exported my Anilist list and imported that to MAL which this time reverted my dates back to normal. For your Full History script, does that actually show you your ENITRE history? Even to when you first started using MAL? How does it do that? I thought MAL only saves your history up to a month.

Actually... MAL (I'm not exactly sure when they started to do so), but they save the Data about Each of the Episodes You've ever added, but it's kind of hidden, and You have to check each Anime indyvidually.
So... Unless You were using MAL before they added this, or you set Anime to Completed without setting Episode (which is low likely), it will show You Your whole history

This was mentioned in a newer post https://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=2076778, but it gets stuck in step 3, is it still supposed to work or is there something newer to add missing dates? I also don't know why it gets stuck either.

Is it normal for it to be done with the Fetching information and Fetching Dates but never move in the Sending Update Requests? because that's currently happening to me...I tried refreshing and restarting the process but it never has any blue progress on the last one...

@Ruby_Gem

I've been supposed to Update it Years ago, but moved to AniList and lost Interest...

I've been close to Finishing the Re:Work but never actually did...

Guess I'll hop on it once again

@NurarihyonMaou not sure if you were ever planning to update this or your Full History script again, but would be nice if you included manga and detected which url they are on anime/manga to determine type for the url to use, also would obviously benefit by using API instead of anime.plus as it would take away most the steps required.
