i like how you guys see yuri in a positive way.. anyway i'm a girl & i'm straight.. i really like yuri & same as to other genres of anime except the ecchiness and too much fanservice..not cool .. a little kissing is enough X*

anyway watching yuri doesn't mean your a homo or something ( homos are not bad either^__^..) i mean it's a good anime why put yourself in box??X3 & yea i hate it when i'm watching yuri & my sister is around & i get the feeling she's disgusted by it or something.. i've watched different yuri shows before and i really enjoyed it..i remember when it was just my first time watching it & my reaction was like "WHAT THE HECK!?!" i didn't know such anime existed.. anyway glad there is.. now i'm craving for moooooore!!!! sadly there's only few good yuri this year *sigh...

yeah I just look as gender as irrelevant, but every girl I know who likes yuri is not 100% straight. 0.o But not homosexual either more along the terms of overly playful, bi-curious, or bi.

I'm a lesbian, i LOOOOOVE yuri. Im a manga artist and i specialize in yuri. Currently im manking a yuri-horror story called "Miss Murder" (You know, like the song from AFI?) Anywhos, Ive read some comments above me and i do agree that you dont have to be gay to like/love yuri, you just gotta have an open mind (and good taste :P)

I'm bi and I love yuri as well. ^_^ I tried yaoi a while but for some reason it never really did anything for me. I found Gravitation boring. But as soon as I watched Strawberry Panic I was hooked.

Im a lesbian && I love yuri, another anime genre I would say I love as much as yuri is horror/Thriller. I cant seem to have any interest in yaoi or hetero romance genre, unless its in a horror anime lol

This seems to be a slightly old topic, but I'll reply anyway (^_^;).

I'm a girl and lesbian, and I absolutely adore yuri. I find it to be one of the most beautiful and sweet things to ever see. (^.^)

There's few yaoi that I can stand to read or watch without disinterest or being a little grossed out. I won't say it's wrong or anything. A few examples of it seeming to work well were Evangelion (Shinji and Kaworu) and Pandora Hearts (the lead and his servant). I also don't mind the Otoko-no-ko genre when its comedic or basically about guys that are in most respects girls anyway.

Hetero-romances are fine to me in general but I can't fully relate. Obnoxious or insensitive guys in such stories really get on my nerves, though.
