| I like both classical (operas, symphonies) and entertaining music, especially rock of the seventies (Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Van der Graaf Generator, Jethro Tull, etc.), modern rock and alternative music (Radiohead, Queens of the Stone Ages, The Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana), a few metal bands (Therion, Tool, System of a Dawn, Metallica). But I am in favor some trip-hop bands as well (Portishead, Massive Attack, Tricky). In world music I like Dead Can Dance and Loreena McKennitt. | same as odge for me, not a big fan of most japanese music. i did buy a few CDs while i was there tho and both dissapointed me. the only JPOP group i like is Nigirlis < not sure if i spelled it right. their anime openings and endings i really like. |

There's some others too, but those are the ones that I listen to the most :) I listen to non-JRock stuff too though. |
| Aside from my (entirely too large) collection of anime OP/ED songs, I have another "random" list that is just that: random. It's hard to explain my music tastes, exactly. If a song's good, I like it. *shrug* 99% of the time I listen to my anime list. |

| *sigh of relief* You have no idea how happy it makes me to hear that I'm not the only one around listening to anime music. Most of my music IS anime music, be it insert songs/bgm, character songs, opening and endings... I do have some random pop, classical, rock, techno, and dance music in there. When I turn on my TV and listen to one of the channels that play nothing but music, I usually watch the dance/electronica one. Rarely a song I don't like. Just don't ask me what they are - I have no idea. I tried writing them down but I always lose the list. Right now I'm listening to "Fly Away" from TeddyLoid... which is from the Panty & Stocking soundtrack. FLY AWAAAAAAAAAAY~ |

Niki, I always love HIM, amazing music, and totally unique in what they're doing. :) I am listening to these two songs, one after the other ofc :P Disturbed - The Night and this: Red-Faceless Although different as bands, both songs have great music in their own genres, and both song lyrics are fuckin' amazing!! x)) Lyrics are the most important thing for me in a song, they have to actually mean sth, otherwise I won't bother much. | wow bill I loved those songs, especially the first one, I think I'll put it on my i-pod. I see you find songs with good lyrics too. I always enjoy OneRepublic, nebula, they sort of have their own style with the beats and all. Nice vid too. I see you listen to anime BGM too, metamprphius, great! It's not always only music, but the main idea is instrumental piece and beats!! Oh how I love those beats!!! ^.^ |
