Looking for some anime/manga that centers around the relationship of two people. Doesn't matter whether is girl/girl, or boy/girl, or boy/boy. If it turns out to be romance, I don't mind either ^.^

The reason I use ''closeness'' in the title is because I'm also looking for closeness between siblings (you can't really call that friendship, can you?)

I like scenes when one comforts the other, cheers each other up, those heartwarming scenes (: Its nice if you can recommend me something in which two close friends/siblings do everything together, like sleeping together, eating together, going anywhere together and don't wan to be separated.

PS: no hentai, no mecha, its okay if shoujo ai (not too much tho, a little kiss is okay)

Canaan. Not actually lesbian, but close.
El Cazador de la Bruja. Same as above.
Katanagatari, two people who travel together and become close very quickly. Cooler than S+W, imo.
Maria-sama ga Miteru series. Lots of girl/girl closeness that makes you know they love each other without showing anything definitively lesbian. Like, one kiss that isn't even between the main characters.
Michiko to Hatchin, a foster parent/child relationship between a badass woman and a girl she claims is the daughter of a guy she liked.
Seirei no Moribito, slow-paced fantasy with another foster parent/child relationship.

The two things that really fit sibling(or sibling-esque) closeness, I'm hesitant to recommend; Cat Soup is quite odd, and GL(for Simon and Kamina, in this case) is so popular, you would've seen it by now if you were interested. Ichigo Mashimaro, NANA, Naisho no Tsubomi and Key the Metal Idol also come close, though.

Others that are good;
Aoi Hana, a lesbian protagonist but more about her and her straight best friend.
Ookiku Furikabutte, about a team as a whole but most often focuses on two players who have clashing personalities but end up attached to each other anyway. Rather than cute closeness, though, they spend a lot of time struggling against themselves to even get along.
Revolutionary Girl Utena, several dysfunctional (but still close) relationships, including three pairs of siblings whose incestuous interest varies. No in-your-face lesbianism.

Sorry. Trying to think of stuff that has two people who comfort each other and are openly close, and the first things that come to mind are all shoujo-ai.

Seconding NANA, Seirei no Moribito, TM 8.0, and Lovely Complex.

Also adding:
- Dennou Coil (focuses on a group of kids, actually, rather than just two people but closer to the end, it starts to focus on just two)
- Haibane Renmei
- Gakuen Alice (starts as a friendship between Mikan/Hotaru but, while this does continue, Mikan/Natsume relationship comes into play later; if I were to choose between the anime and manga for this, I'd go for the manga)
- Kobato

There are also films that delve into these things, if you're interested...
- My Neighbour Totoro (mostly deals with two sisters)
- Spirited Away
- Howl's Moving Castle
- Tokyo Godfathers

Banana Fish-not to say the rest of the story isn't amazing, but the relationship between the two mains is what really carries it and makes it special. But it takes a while to get started up and it's not always wordy, sometimes it's just a simple expression, it starts off slow but it's really well done.

Kannagi - Nagi and Jin have some interesting chemistry given the nature of their relationship
Kure-nai - you might like it's unusual boy-girl, guardian-child relationship
Katanagatari - see senerikfred's explanation
