Most people say Arlong Park (and rightfully so, it's an awesome arc). I honestly can't remember when I got hooked because I started One Piece when I was young.

it wasn't consistent for me, i liked one piece alot till the alabasta arc but after that i kinda got tired of skypiea when the shandian vs priests was happening, so i ended up not watching for a long time, i was stuck on 169 episode till April 2nd of this year, then i ended up powering through skypiea and surprisingly it's one of my fav arcs now, and then i got hooked onto it from enies lobby and as of now I'm just finishing dressrosa

I got hooked on One Piece from The LOGUETOWN ARC . I liked Arlong Park but it didn't make me feel about watching next episode immediately.
but the LOGUETOWN arc did it for me.

Skypiea arc was the first time I watched One Piece since 2nd grade around 2003-2004, got hooked and I bought a lot op manga. Back then i remember watched it on Cube TV the dubbed version was halirious but its amazing.

Back when I was younger, I used to binge watch 10 episodes everyday, I remember how it's the first thing I do is wake up and watch it.

The atmospheric/vibe feeling it gives off feels very unique, the world is non-parallel and unique as well. And it really felt like an adventure especially how to me, a lot of episodes always has been looking forward to more.

Definitely at the end of sabaody when the crew got separated imo everything went downfall from that point until the timeskip and it just highlighted that it's just getting serious from this point onwards

for me it went like this that in baratie it piqued my interest and withe sanji backstory and the goodbye had me invested enough to tear up but in arlong park i fell in love with this story and water 7 and enies lobby made realize that it is one of the greatest of all time

Arlong Park made me hooked for anime in general, it showed how much humanity can be in fictional anime characters (only knew stuff like Death Note or Detective Conan before).
But Aces backstory in Marineford made me a One Piece Fan

Well for me, i got hooked up after Water 7 and Enies lobby! Imo it was such a turning point in the series! Like the story was cool, the side characters were nice and most importantly the villains were actually good unlike some other arcs like Skypiea where the priests lacked any character whatsoever! CP9 was actually great in that aspect! Also the emotions in this arc were overwhelming! The fight with Usopp, robin sacrificing herself for the crew and most importantly the last journey of going merry! I never thought I would cry like a baby for an inanimate ship, but merry’s last voyage and the final scene of merry was too well written. It was as if we lost an important member of the Straw Hats. Also, even though introduced as an antagonist, Franky turned out to be an actually kind and soft-hearted cyborg. As much as I hated him in the beginning for beating up Usopp, you can’t oversee his dedication and determination to follow his master’s footsteps to build the greatest ship of all time. So, yeah, in my humble opinion, the Water 7 saga was one of the best arcs that truly set a bar for what One piece is all about!
