| I saw two episodes and the main guy is infuriating for being such a pussy and Nagatoro is one of the most annoying characters I saw in anime ever and I saw a lot. I know characters like Miyuki from Mahouka or Yuno from Mirai Nikki that like to repeat the same word over and over. But Nagatoro with her "Senpai" got on my nerves really fast. She says it every 5 seconds... |

| Yes, in the beginning the main guy is infuriating and Nagatoro is annoying, but the fun in the show for me is watching their relationship develop and watching them become better versions of themselves. Senpai gradually becomes more confident and improves his art, while she becomes proud of him and also starts teasing him more flirtatiously. It’s great, and very wholesome. TL;DR: yes, it gets better, especially if you enjoy wholesome stuff |

| I dont know how people in this thread are saying that it wont get better. The MC is a cry baby in the first 2 to 3 episode but he gets a lot better in the later episodes. |

| It didn't get better. I despised mc as well but I guess he got more tolerable. I didn't like this much, it was just loud and frustrating. I 'liked' both main characters more than side characters, imo they added literally nothing. |

| You watched 1600 animes, and you still haven't learned anything about development? Haven't you learned that there are animes that start one way but turn out to be something different in the end? ... However, yes, she will keep saying "senpai", because nobody says his name in the anime, her friends say "paisen" which is just "senpai" in reverse (pai-sen = sen-pai). |
| If you somehow manage to go through the first like 6-7 episodes. Then it becomes a good romance show. Nothing special though but it’s definitely worth it. Nagatoro is gonna say Senpai even more though so be aware |

I dropped most the shows similar to this because I got bored |
